Here are three common online dating mistakes that will ruin your shopping for guys. Avoid these online dating mistakes so that you attract the best men. Have you wondered why so many guys you meet through online dating are a total bust. Even the ones who seem promising and come on strong
in the beginning. And then one fight or misstep and poof, it’s all over. Ouch. You know exactly what I mean. It can be enough to make you feel like totally giving up on finding love through online dating.
Don’t Give Up
Except you don’t. There is a faint whisper in your heart that tells you true love is going to be there for you. And it will. If you know how to look for it and don’t make the usual online dating mistakes. If you know what you are doing, online dating can be like shopping for best guys in the greatest stores on earth. In fact, two women in my Love Mentoring program got very happily engaged this week. To scrumptious men. Devoted men. Their Soulmates. And they found them through online dating. So here, adapted from my new online dating book, Find Your Soulmate Online in Six Simple Steps are three common mistakes that can make online dating a total waste:
Online Dating Mistake #1.
You don’t post a great and current photo. Men are VISUAL creatures. If your photo is blurry, smile-less and/or from the dark ages, it won’t draw any real or lasting responses!
Online Dating Mistake #2.
Don’t go on niche tiny sites. Small boutique sites may sound intriguing, but chances are there are ZERO men on there in your area who could be your Soulmate. You may be tempted by a site like HolisticHealerDating.com or FullFigureFriendFinder.com. These are made up sites but someone will probably create them. But new little sites do not have enough members and provide slim pickings.
Online Dating Mistake #3.
Avoid being ultra-picky or defensive in your profile about the kind of guy you are looking for. This communicates that you are a diva. Most men are turned off by the thought of being whittled down by a judgmental woman. Good men, who are Soulmate material, go for warm loving women whom they feel they can please.
So work on your profile, get on the right site/app and post a great photo.
